Spring is here my friends, and I am loving on natural and dewey beauty looks right now!
In case you are on the hunt for some new beauty products (aka me every single day of my life...), I have linked up my current Spring faves for you!
I really wish I could transmit the smell of this through the computer to you. It seriously smells like fresh watermelon! Glow Recipe is a K beauty brand, and this moisturizer packs a punch with hyaluronic acid plus nutrients from watermelon and botanicals. Not sure it makes my skin more hydrated than any other moisturizer, but honestly the smell alone is worth it!
Fair warning, this highlighter has glitter in it. The thing I really love about the Colourpop highlighters though is that you have a lot of control over how intense it is. If you are looking for a glow but nothing too crazy, just apply lightly with your finger. I usually just tap it on. However, if you are trying to be a NASA beacon, use a synthetic bristle brush and GO TO TOWN. This highlight will have you GLOWING, girl!
When I first discovered this BB cream, I didn't wear foundation for a solid 6 months because I was so obsessed with this product. The thing you want to keep in mind about BB creams though is that it is essentially a tinted moisturizer, so if you are someone who loves a full coverage you're probably going to hate this. But if you are looking for something natural that can hide small imperfections and give you that glow-from-within look, meet your new best friend! Side note, it is usually sold out online, so try your nearest Sephora or Dior counter.
The Huda Beauty Eyeshadow palettes have quickly developed a reputation for gorgeous color payoff and creamy formulas with stay power. The colors in this palette are absolutely perfect for Spring looks, definitely recommend!
Pro Tip: After you complete your eye look, use your finger to pat on some of the Colourpop Highlighter in the center of the lid from the lash line to just below the crease for a subtle pop!
Not only does this facial spray smell absolutely amazing, it is SO refreshing! I spray this on in the morning before my moisturizer or just whenever my skin needs a pick-me-up. You can also spray it on your foundation brush before blending to add some dewiness! Not to mention it is also super affordable
This mask has quickly made its way in to my normal skincare rotation. It leaves my skin feeling super refreshed and clean, so I love using it if I have had on a full face all day (or if my skin is just feeling clogged). It does leave my skin slightly red afterwards though, so this is not one that I use in the morning if I am going sans makeup for the day.
To me, this is the perfect Spring gloss! It is hydrating, non-sticky, and lasts, but the best part is the color. It is a pink champagne/nude with a gold shimmer, and yes, it looks as gorgeous as it sounds. (*heart eyes emoji*)
Coconut has been such a hot ingredient in primers recently, and this specific one is my top pick out of the lot. The two most popular are for sure the TooFaced Hangover Primer and the Marc Jacobs Coconut Primer, but I prefer the First Aid Beauty for three reasons. First, the formula is thicker which helps my skin retain moisture better. Second, the price point is more affordable. And finally...I just like the way this one smells the best!
Not sure about you, but my lips are always SO dry coming out of winter. This lip mask has been a serious game changer for me. After using it, my lips feel hydrated and full in the morning, lasting throughout the day. This should for sure be on your list of things to pick up!
My nails are almost always a dark shade (#VampyVibes), but this color formulation is so well done it has actually become one of my few go-to bright color polishes! It is such a gorgeous shade for Spring, without being a typical overdone pastel.
To me, this is the perfect contour shade. It is not too orange, not too brown, and not too pigmented, aka you can build up your contour to exactly how dark you want it to be. It allows you to achieve a naturally defined look by imitating the appearance of a real shadow, which is honestly #contourgoals. If you're ever feeling a little extra, use a large powder brush and lightly apply a shimmer bronzer (usually I go for the Lorac TANtalizaer) to the area you are about to contour, then go in with the Bobbi Brown on top for definition!
I have never been a floral girl when it comes to perfume UNTIL..... I found this one. The scent is seriously incredibly, and is honestly the only perfume I have ever repurchased. It isn't overwhelmingly floral and has some sweetness to it, which makes it zero percent old-lady-like. This scent also lasts nearly all day on me, which is a huge plus! Almost every other perfume I have used lasts maybe a few hours and then disappears. Next time you are at Sephora/Ulta/Dillard's/whatever, definitely spray some on to see what you think!
If I'm being honest here, I am NOT a blush girl. 9 times out of 10, even when I go full glam, I skip it. But for Spring, blush is definitely a necessity. It will help give you the fresh-faced look that is quintessential for the season! The BareMinerals blush is my go-to because it is not super pigmented so I am able to build it up to the look I want. To me, there is nothing worse than dabbing my brush into the blush pan and after brushing some onto my cheeks, it is so pigmented you end up looking like a clown. No thanks. But not with BareMinerals! This blush takes away all my blush anxiety.
